Wrap Pricing

How Much Does a
Car Wrap Cost in El Paso?

A full color-change vinyl wrap in El Paso typically runs $2,000 to $5,000+. Compacts and sedans sit at the low end, trucks and SUVs at the high end, and paint condition underneath moves the number more than most people expect.

El Paso wrap prices by vehicle size

These are realistic 2026 ranges for a quality cast-vinyl full wrap installed properly, with parts removed and edges tucked. Anyone quoting far below the bottom of these ranges is using calendared film, skipping disassembly, or both.

  • Compact car / coupe — roughly $2,000 to $2,800
  • Midsize sedan — roughly $2,500 to $3,400
  • Small SUV / crossover — roughly $2,900 to $3,800
  • Full-size truck or SUV — roughly $3,500 to $5,000+
  • Cargo van / box truck — quoted per job, usually $4,000+

Partial wraps and smaller jobs

  • Chrome delete (window trim, badges, grille) — $350 to $900
  • Roof wrap — $250 to $600
  • Hood wrap — $300 to $700
  • Racing stripes or accent graphics — $400 to $1,200
  • Partial / two-tone wrap — $1,000 to $2,200
  • Commercial lettering package — $400 to $1,200
  • Wrap removal — $500 to $1,500 depending on film age and condition

What actually moves the price

1. Paint condition underneath

This is the biggest hidden variable and the one nobody quotes over the phone. Vinyl needs a sound, defect-free surface. If a panel has dents, chips or failing clear coat, that work has to happen first, and it can add several hundred to a couple thousand dollars. In El Paso this comes up constantly because of how aggressively our sun kills clear coat — see auto paint and refinishing.

2. Film type and finish

Gloss and satin standard colors are the baseline. Color-shift, chrome, brushed metal and textured films cost noticeably more per square foot. Printed custom graphics add design and print time on top of install labor.

3. How complex the body is

Deep recesses, aggressive body lines, spoilers, roof rails, big bumper vents and split panels all take more film and far more labor. Two vehicles of the same size can differ by $800 on complexity alone.

4. Disassembly

A proper wrap means handles, mirrors, badges, lights and trim come off so film wraps behind edges instead of stopping at them. That is hours of labor. Shops that quote low usually skip it, and you see the result at every edge within a year.

Why the cheapest quote is usually the expensive one

The El Paso market has a wide quality spread. A $1,200 "full wrap" is almost always calendared film rather than cast, applied without disassembly and without post-heating. Calendared vinyl has memory — it wants to shrink back to flat — and our summer surface temperatures give it every opportunity. It pulls out of body lines, lifts at edges, and by month fourteen you are paying for removal plus a real wrap. Buying twice costs more than buying once.

How to get an accurate quote

Bring the vehicle in. A wrap quote from a phone photo is a guess, because the two variables that matter most — paint condition and body complexity — cannot be assessed from an image. Estimates at our Harrison Ave shop are free and take about fifteen minutes. See car wraps, or fleet wraps if you are branding work vehicles.

A full color-change vinyl wrap in El Paso typically costs $2,000 to $5,000. Compact cars run about $2,000 to $2,800, midsize sedans $2,500 to $3,400, small SUVs $2,900 to $3,800, and full-size trucks and SUVs $3,500 to $5,000 or more. Partial wraps, roof wraps and chrome delete packages start much lower, from around $250 to $900.
Usually yes. A quality full repaint in El Paso generally starts around $3,000 and climbs quickly once you include jambs and door shuts for a color change, while a full wrap on the same vehicle often lands between $2,500 and $3,500. A wrap is also reversible and protects the paint underneath. Paint wins when the existing finish is already failing, because wrapping over failing clear coat only delays the problem.
Almost always because of calendared vinyl instead of cast vinyl, and skipped disassembly. Calendared film shrinks back toward flat, and El Paso surface temperatures accelerate that badly, so it lifts out of body lines and peels at edges within a year or two. Skipping disassembly means film stops at edges instead of wrapping behind them, which is where lifting starts.
No, removal is quoted separately and typically runs $500 to $1,500. Old film that has been baked in the sun for years, or cheap film that has started to crack, takes far longer to remove and leaves more adhesive behind. We quote removal after seeing the current wrap.
