Terms of Service

The ground rules for using this website and for the work we do on your vehicle.

Effective date: August 25, 2026 · Last updated: August 25, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of cmbodyworks.com and your communication with C&M Body Works, located at 4034 Harrison Ave, El Paso, TX 79930. By using this website, starting a chat with us, or texting us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What this website is

This website describes the services we offer and gives you a way to reach us. Nothing on it is a binding offer, a guaranteed price, or a promise of availability. Prices, turnaround times and service descriptions are general information and can change without notice.

3. Estimates and repairs

  • Estimates are free and are not final. Collision damage frequently hides behind the panel. If we find additional damage after teardown, we will contact you with a supplement before proceeding. We do not perform additional work without your approval.
  • Any figure quoted over the phone, by text or through chat is a rough range only. A real estimate requires us to see the vehicle.
  • You choose your body shop. Under Texas law, your insurance company cannot require you to use a specific shop. If a claim is involved, we will work with your carrier, but the repair agreement is between you and us.
  • Parts. Where OEM, aftermarket or recycled parts are used will be identified on your estimate. Insurance carriers often specify part type; we will tell you what is being used before we order it.

4. Appointments and vehicles left with us

Appointment times are our best estimate of when we can start your vehicle, not a guaranteed completion time. Please remove personal belongings before dropping off. We are not responsible for personal property left in a vehicle. Vehicles left after a completed repair without arrangement may be subject to storage charges as permitted by Texas law.

5. Payment

Payment is due when the vehicle is picked up, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing or the balance is being paid directly by an insurance carrier. Deductibles are the customer's responsibility. We do not collect payment through this website.

6. Warranty

We warrant our workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle. That covers our labor: our paint work, our bodywork, our refinishing. It does not cover parts covered by the manufacturer's own warranty, normal wear, rust originating outside the repaired area, new collision damage, or damage from abuse, neglect or a subsequent repair performed by someone else. Bring the vehicle back and we will look at it.

7. Text messaging terms

If you provide your mobile number and check a consent box in our website chat widget, you agree to receive text messages from C&M Body Works of the type you consented to. Customer care consent and promotional consent are separate, independent permissions.

  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or call (915) 565-4949.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Our handling of your mobile number is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

8. Acceptable use of this site

Do not use this site to break the law, scrape it at a volume that degrades service for other visitors, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or submit someone else's phone number as your own. Submitting a mobile number you are not authorized to use is a violation of these terms and of federal law.

9. Intellectual property

The C&M Body Works name, logo, site design, photography and written content are our property and may not be copied or reused without written permission. Vehicle photographs shown are of work performed at our shop.

10. Third-party content

This site embeds a Google Maps frame and a LeadConnector chat widget, and links to third-party sites such as Facebook. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

This website is provided "as is." We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current at any given moment. To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, our liability arising from your use of this website is limited to the amount you paid us for services, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Nothing in this section limits our workmanship warranty on repairs actually performed, or any right you have under Texas consumer protection law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in El Paso County, Texas.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
